Assist with the overall collection effort and reduction of the Student Accounts receivable for current and noncurrent students. Monitor credit collection activity. Report and escalate activity to partner agencies as appropriate. Provide financial guidance to current and graduated students about payment options available to them. Authorize special payment plans, interest waivers, exceptions on deferments and temporary clearances. Negotiate payment terms on delinquent accounts. Perform required due diligence with federal and institutional loans and liaise with loan service provider to manage default rates. This role has a hybrid work schedule: Two days on-site and three days remote per week.

Reporting to the Director, provides analytical, research, data, & operational support to facilitate ongoing New York State Education Department (NYSED) & multi-state authorization compliance for all NYU programs. Serves as a reliable subject expert and thought partner with the Director on NY state and Multi-state authorization policies and procedures. Maintains internal systems and databases to support the NYSED and Multi-state portfolio. Reviews NYSED proposals and identifies draft feedback and necessary revisions according to establsihed criteria; Monitors important deadlines for Multi-State compliance, coordinating with schools and university stakeholders to support ongoing membership in NC-SARA. Supports director in annual multi-state compliance cycle, drafting communications to schools, researching emergent questions, and escalating sensitive concerns to the Director. Drafts communications, summary data reports, data visualizations, modern, design-oriented presentation decks, website content, and other communications for various internal and external audiences. Committed to using appropriate technology & software to maintain data accuracy and tracking for the entire authorization portfolio. Generate ongoing mechanisms to improve how the authorization team supports schools in their mission for academic excellence and innovation through capacity building activities, training, online resources, process improvement, etc. Plays a significant role in supporting the academic mission of the university by facilitating necessary approvals to launch new programs, revise programs, and conduct online and non-classroom experiences outside NY state.

The Senior Software Engineer leads a team of software developers in developing and maintaining new products, primarily on the ServiceNow platform. The incumbent delegates tasks, implements and reviews code to ensure the quality of deliverables, and provide clarification and guidance on implementation standards and decisions. This role is responsible for receiving status updates from team(s) and provide status updates to product owners. This position maintains, upgrades and enhances existing systems. The Senior Software Engineer evaluates existing systems to identify areas of enhancement and the impact of such enhancements. This position analyzes organizational needs and research and develop new solutions to meet those needs. The individual in this role is responsible for managing and delegating the implementation of proofs of concept. The Senior Software Engineer explores and suggests innovative applications for emerging technologies in existing and new systems. This position manages four student employees.

The Educational Technologist works with faculty, staff and the Faculty Innovations in Teaching and Learning team to support the design, development, and implementation of instructional multimedia content for the Tandon School of Engineering, to provide a quality student experience and validate course learning goals. The Educational Technologist assists in meeting this goal by assisting with the development of course materials, maintaining content in the school learning management system, providing support to instructors and students in online courses, and identifying and implementing educational technologies to support course and program learning goals.
