Manage maintenance activities and operations for a large and complex grouping of academic properties including the management of physical plant operations and the management and maintenance of complex building systems equipment. Promote and foster the working relationships between Central facilities staff and academic facilities staff ensuring uniform standards of operations, maintenance and security. Manage and coordinate services provide by contract suppliers.

Perform basic review of clients' eyeglass prescriptions to identify optimal design of lenses. Select and adjust frames to fit clients' facial structure. Measure and record client data relating to specific eyeglass fitting. Calculate lens measurement specifications. Inspect finished spectacles to ensure compliance with American National Standards Institute tolerances. Answer telephones, screen calls and take messages. Respond to patient inquiries, directing them as appropriate or providing information. Maintain inventory and order supplies.
