The Data Analyst provides analytics and visualization support to the Financial Strategy and Analytics team. Navigate large data sources with a variety of owners across NYU, including financial, operations, human capital, academic, research, student, facilities, and real estate, among others. Connect across data sources and synthesize findings in a concise manner. Generate analyses and insights that support operational decision-making and drive change aligned with the Chief Financial Officer’s strategic goals and mission. Partner with schools and units to understand qualitative perspectives and merge these insights with quantitative findings to provide actionable recommendations.
Oversee and manage all operational functions and activities for the Office of the CFO. Provide leadership and direction for strategic planning initiatives, the office's budget and financial planning, project management, and program development. Manage the maintenance of activities and operations for a large and complex grouping of academic properties including the management of physical plant operations and the management and maintenance of complex building systems equipment. Promote and foster the working relationships between Central facilities staff and academic facilities staff, ensuring uniform standards of operations, maintenance and security. Answer mental health hotline, managing high risk situations, utilizing crisis intervention skills, and providing referrals for concrete resources.
