Manage sponsored research funds for the department of Biomaterials and Biomimetics. Develop and prepare grant budget projections and recommendations; monitor and approve expenditures and subcontracts. Assist the Department Manager and faculty principal investigators in making financial decisions related to grants to ensure grant stipulations and agreements are met. Develop various financial reports to track expenses on grants. Develop and implement grant-related policies and procedures.
Oversee administrative operations to ensure the seamless flow of activity within the office of Global Enrollment Management and Student Success (GEMSS). Serve on the GEMSS senior leadership team, ensuring effective administrative management by developing and executing a coordinated strategy for training, deploying, and managing employees who provide administrative support to the organization. Direct complex projects core to Enrollment Management operations and manage critical timelines, budgets, and deadlines necessary to ensure organizational success. The Center on International Cooperation (CIC) is seeking a dedicated Operations Administrator to join their team. This individual will provide operational and strategic support to the CIC. Assist in managing the day-to-day operations and administrative needs for CIC. Develop and implement operational policies and processes; manage office facility and IT needs; coordinate meetings; administer the full lifecycle of the procurement process and vendor relationships; facilitate recruitment and appointment process for program staffing needs.
NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer in the Volatility and Risk Institute (VRI). The Software Developer will support research initiatives in VRI and will participate in the ongoing design, development, testing, and maintenance of software and technical solutions, including upgrades and enhancements, to drive VRI’s financial modeling and analysis. Prepare technical specifications; design, develop, and test technical solutions; and provide technical expertise upon request. Assist in the design and development of the Volatility Laboratory (V-Lab) AWS infrastructure and code base, maintaining code quality standards. Write documentation and provide assistance for newly developed applications. Research, develop, and implement innovative ways to improve quality and functionality of applications and share suggestions and knowledge capital with team members.
This is a 12 month fixed-term position, with a start date ASAP and an end date of approximately July 1, 2025.
Lead the development and continuous improvement of NYU’s financial ERP platform and other financial technologies at NYU, in close partnership with NYU’s Finance department, Project Management Office, and global business partners. Responsibilities include leading a team of technical resources to maintain and advance NYU’s central financial applications, including Oracle Peoplesoft Financials; developing automations using UIPath RPA; developing system implementation strategies; resolving technical issues across a number of technical platforms and integrations; collaborating with other technical teams, both within and outside of NYU IT, to resolve technical issues with financial applications and to ensure NYU’s financial applications can meet the needs of the global NYU community. Use technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve issues faced by financial application users. Responsible for overseeing application development, configuration, integration work, and operations for NYU’s financial ERP platform and related technologies. Ensure that NYU Community members who are using the financial systems adhere to NYU IT and University policy and procedures in their use of the services.

Develop, coordinate, and implement programs and services for the Center for Student Life within the Division of Student Affairs. As an active member of the Center for Student Life team, be involved in student organization advisement, university and departmental policy oversight, program and service assessment, major programming, budget management, communication, marketing, and collaboration across the Center for Student Life and campus. Serves with other CSL staff on leading university wide events, and undertakes special projects to be assigned at the discretion of the CSL leadership team. Arts & Science is seeking a dedicated Academic Program Manager to join Chemistry. The Academic Program Manager will supervise the administrative operations of the undergraduate and graduate academic programs, including course scheduling and assignments for graduate and undergraduate programs. Implement the department's academic policies and procedures. Serve as the subject matter expert in College of Arts & Science (CAS) and Graduate School of Arts & Science (GSAS) policies and procedures, and recommend changes to departmental procedures to meet new guidelines; serve as a liaison with other University departments to resolve problems. Oversee special events related to the undergraduate program. Advise prospective and current undergraduate and graduate students of policies and procedures and assess student academic progress. Develop reports and present information to faculty leadership to aid in planning and decision making as it relates to the academic programs. Supervise staff and prioritize assignments to ensure deadlines are met and review work for accuracy.
