Provide Systems Administration and technical support in the designs, development, installation and maintenance of Steinhardt Systems and services including hardware and software for all for all servers and desktop workstations. Provide Tier 3 support to Steinhardt technical support team and community. Basic network troubleshooting. Collaborate and coordinate on various projects with internal groups and departments, including NYU Central IT.
Perform a wide range of clerical, secretarial and general office duties including those of a confidential nature. Prioritize office activities and delegate work to student and/or casual employees. Respond to inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the department's activities, policies and programs. Customize and/or compose letters in response to requests for information. Perform general word processing duties utilizing intermediate to advanced-level functions. Use text editing system to produce publication and other materials; input coded commands and format text including scientific and mathematical symbols; create templates using electronic editor. Modify and/or create databases and complex spreadsheets. Monitor complex department budgets and/or grants.

Reporting to the CUSP Academic Director, this position is responsible for managing NYU CUSP’s marketing strategies and tools. Leveraging new and existing technologies, and in accordance with the Director and CUSP’s priorities and strategies, design web content, social media, digital marketing, and communications plans primarily for CUSP MS degree admissions. Monitor allocations and content with our marketing firm partner(s) in conjunction with Tandon Graduate. The incumbent will also be a co-member of the recruitment team, and represent CUSP at events and activities both on and off campus, and will oversee the admissions cycle and all admissions queries from Tandon team on behalf of CUSP.

The Assistant Director will partner with the Vice President of Government & Community Affairs, Associate Vice President for Government Affairs and Director of Government Affairs in the implementation of the University's advocacy and policy agenda, which includes advocating for University initiatives, securing resources for priority programs and aligning priorities with agendas that promote the University. The Assistant Director will serve a lead role in building relationships between NYC elected officials, specifically Members of the New York City Council, and the University regarding issues affecting the broader NYU community. The incumbent will serve as the main representative of NYU to the NYC City Council, including developing and carrying out the University’s annual budget requests, following legislation and hearings that may impact the University, and representing the University’s positions directly to City elected officials. The incumbent will manage external consultants, as well as the government relations staff (including direct management of a student intern position), and interact directly with Senior University Leadership to strategically and proactively implement the University's government relations agenda. The Assistant Director will be asked to stay informed on government issues affecting NYU and be asked to plan and staff University events involving government officials and represent the University at various association and external meetings.
University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. UDAR's endeavors raise funds for immediate University use and also for the University's endowment.
The Senior Gift Records Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing gift transactions, event registrations and donor record maintenance. Ensuring that gifts are recorded and receipted in compliance with CASE guidelines, IRS requirements and University policy. Facilitating daily reconciliation, oversight of ledger posting, gift deposits and transfers. Handle high volumes of confidential and sensitive data on a daily basis. Assist with and facilitate daily bank reconciliations, weekly fund transfers, journal entries, and oversight of ledger postings. Review, interpret, add, and update biographical information and processing gift adjustments to enhance donor profiles and ensure data integrity, and accurate reporting and gift recording in the database. Serve as a backup for other Senior Gift Records Specialists and provide support to other team members during periods of high gift volume, must be available to work during critical and cyclical peak timeframes, including but not limited to fiscal and calendar year-ends, winter break, and fundraising campaigns.

The Institute for the Study of the Ancient World (ISAW) is a center for advanced scholarly research and graduate education with a multi-disciplinary, multi-regional academic community dedicated to the study of the ancient world. To support these efforts, ISAW has an extensive roster of in-person and online public programming, outreach initiatives, and internal events (including academic lectures, conferences, lunchtime talks, and workshops).
ISAW is seeking an Administrative Aide II that is a talented, organized and proactive team-player. This individual will provide support for the activities of the Administrative and Events team. Direct and oversee day-to-day operations for NYU School of Law, including facilities, maintenance, events, safety, and emergency management. Oversee capital projects, operations, housing, and administrative services. Work with various vendors, contractors, and University and School offices. Develop and direct policies, procedures, strategies and operational standards. Serve as main emergency coordinator for School of Law and as liaison with NYU Campus Safety and Emergency Preparedness and Continuity Offices and provide 24/7 support for facilities-related emergencies. Develop and oversee hospitality and events operations.
