University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. The Associate Vice President, Advancement Services and IT will lead and shape the Advancement and Technology teams at University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR). Oversee the functions of Gift Administration, Business Intelligence and Analytics (BIA), and Information Technology in support of global university fundraising programs and campaigns at New York University (NYU). As the chief information architect for UDAR, drive the technology agenda aligning hardware and software with strategic organizational priorities, including quality control, testing, training standards, programming, and services. Lead teams to achieve continuous quality improvement, seamless integration of systems and procedures with strategic partners, and transparency. Design and integrate business intelligence systems and processes that support all campaign fundraising activities, goals and objectives of UDAR. Create strategy for donor experience and support the fundraising process while driving favorable outcomes. Oversee university-wide gift administration for pledges and gifts, and ensure compliance with internal and external policies and federal and state laws. In partnership with Senior Leadership, this role shall support the ambitious fundraising efforts at NYU.

The Prospect Management Analyst serves as an integral member of the Prospect Development team, providing support to inform prospect management strategy for fundraising staff. Partner with the Director on processes associated with on-going prospect management, including building and maintaining fundraiser portfolios, implementing methods to evaluate portfolio productivity, monitoring fundraiser activity, and helping to ensure the effective and timely capture of relationship management data. Build collaborative relationships with fundraisers and foster strong working relationships with development support staff. Collaborate with prospect research team members as needed to deliver key information about managed prospects, build a broad and deep understanding of fundraising metrics to provide the information that supports the management of prospects through the development cycle, and recommend processes for ensuring that the best prospects are actively managed by front line fundraisers.

The Chief of Staff to UDAR's Senior Vice President (SVP) is both a principal Aide to the SVP on all operational and administrative matters as well as a leader responsible for the coordination of communications and projects of the SVP team including supervision and management of SVP suite team members. Manage SVP suite team and advise the SVP on day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, accuracy of work, and optimizing the use of available resources. Collaborate and meet with the SVP team to provide leadership and direction for the SVP's strategic planning initiatives, communication process, office budget, project management, and program development. Manage a portfolio of special projects supporting the SVP's agenda to ensure that all other SVP team member's projects are effectively moving according to plan objectives and establish milestones. Act as liaison, develop and cultivate effective professional relationships, and interact independently with the University community, University Trustees, VIP donors, alumni and outside organizations to help further the fundraising and alumni engagement goals for the University. Act as an in-house writer for the SVP (e.g. talking points, speech writing, etc). Represent the voice of the SVP with internal and external constituencies. At times, represent the SVP team at select internal and external meetings with University administration and UDAR staff.

The primary objective of the Assistant Director, STEM Global Awards is to design, implement, and manage the recruitment, advising, and endorsement process for STEM applicants to various awards. The Assistant Director will review and evaluate existing processes, build and maintain campus partnerships, and oversee an advising process that includes multiple stakeholders from across campus.
Partner with scholarship advisors, faculty, academic advisors and external fellowship foundations to ensure the smooth coordination of student applications for fellowships throughout the year. Direct administrative, student and temporary staff where necessary. Identify and support students and alumni from STEM disciplines to apply for nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships. Manage the recruitment, selection, and advising processes for STEM-focused awards (e.g. Goldwater, Hertz, Churchill, SMART, NSF GRFP); develop and curate resources to assist undergraduates pursuing external STEM research opportunities (e.g. Amgen, NSF REU, DAAD RISE); and encourage STEM students and alumni to apply to non-STEM specific awards (e.g. Fulbright, Rhodes, Marshall). Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Office of Global Awards; administer academic programs, co-curricular programming, events and services.

The Preston Robert Tisch Institute for Global Sport at the NYU School of Professional Studies is seeking an Academic Advisor who will be responsible for advising students on academic programs, policies and procedures and provide career counseling. The Academic Advisor will interpret University and school policies and recommend exceptions to policy, when appropriate.
Manage day-to-day Teaching Soundstage facilities and technology operations for Tisch School of the Arts. Develop operational and creative policies and practices. Design and conduct technical workshops and seminars in response to and adapted to meet faculty and students' needs; ensure training is consistent with established industry and School curricular standards and related film technologies. Advise students on productions and serve as a resident resource expert. Supervise full- and part-time technical support and student employees.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Central Dental Laboratory and Implant Management, the Dental Laboratory Administrator manages daily activities in the College of Dentistry’s Dental Laboratory, including quality control, ensure adherence to standards and practices to maximize safety and operational effectiveness. The Dental Laboratory Administrator will set and monitor production goals and develop/analyze metrics for leadership to assess laboratory effectiveness; instruct and collaborate with providers (student and faculty) on techniques, protocols, and esthetics; and effectively manage dental laboratory cases.
This position supports research and pathway programming for the department of Endodontics. Manage all aspects of pathway program recruitment and enrollment for pathway programing in the Department of Endodontics, including recruitment process: Advertise the program, manage the program(s) application, screen submitted applications, establish schedules, manage onboarding documentation and compliance. Assist in the coordination of school-based pathway program activities, including management of supplies and budgets. Manage pre-award grant preparation and submission process for the Department. Assist Principal Investigators in preparing grant proposals, to include providing guidance and assistance in budget preparation. Advise and assist department with process and compliance issues related to funding agency regulations and standards, and oversees adherence to university administrative, fiscal, and accounting policies and procedures related to grant proposals. Analyze and review grant budgets for compliance with policies, funding agency requirements, and appropriate accounting protocol and procedures; advise and assist researchers and administrators in grant budgeting, and/or cost sharing requirements, and the use of associated data management and reporting systems and processes. Support IRB application submissions and help ensure regulatory compliance of all IRB-approved projects.
The NYU Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an IT Technician to join the Information Technology Department. The selected candidate will provide ongoing technical support to permanent information technology and media installations, perform skilled maintenance and extensive equipment repair, troubleshoot equipment problems in the field, operate a variety of specialized equipment, and consult with client employees on IT/media requirements and capabilities. The IT Technician will also assist with training of student and/or casual employees and assist with training of junior technical support staff.
