The Program Administrator is responsible for managing the promotional, organizational, and operational services for the Center for Cybersecurity (CCS) and will report to the Director of the CCS Center. Responsible for all of the Center’s operations, finance and budget, and staff management. The Program Administrator will support the CCS faculty and their personnel, and Tandon community. Responsible for creating and publishing CCS' digital content to multiple online distribution points including the CCS and CSAW websites, social media channels and digital signage system.
The Specialist is expected to have thorough understanding of the student life cycle and specialized understanding of degree requirements, program/ curriculum governance, and the system maintenance associated with these academic functions for all schools of NYU. Specialists serve as an information resource to the larger University for Office of the Registrar policy and procedure for bulletin management and publishing, degree requirements, and related governance. With supervision from Assistant Registrar, this position is responsible for the maintenance of records in University systems, including: academic policies, degree requirements, and program information and archives. This position serves as an information resource specialist for the entire University for bulletin management (publishing and revising), maintenance of programs and degree requirement information, and related governance. This position will train other staff and school users in University policy and procedure, as well as utilization of University systems.
The Office of Data Governance focuses on realizing NYU’s strategic data governance goals, including the development and management of metadata, assessment and maintenance of data quality, tracking and evaluation of access controls, and communication with the data community at NYU. The Data Analyst will facilitate this work and play a key role in implementing processes and frameworks within our metadata management system, Collibra Data Governance Center, working with various stakeholders across the organization. Assist data governance community members with metadata entry and organization in Collibra Data Governance Center. Ensure policy, standards, and best practices are being followed and direct users to educational resources where applicable. Serve as a subject matter expert for data governance metadata including for data policies, data compliance regulations, and data quality rules and metrics. Use analytics and predictive modeling to assess data quality and metadata quality. Identify data quality issues and trends, oversee remediation plans, implement data controls, and manage data quality remediation strategies. Build process maps to document workflows and data lineage. Communicate this content effectively to both operational and technical stakeholders. Perform project management functions for work with NYU clients, including project planning using PM tools, overseeing project meeting logistics, and providing status updates to clients and sponsors.
Oversee and manage department's portfolio of funding for Africa House, Center for Technology and Economic Development, and Development Research Institute. Manage and reconcile expenditures to the University's financial system. Analyze financial expenditures and make recommendations on spending and budget projections. Provide oversight to staff members on financial transactions and grant compliance. Serve as a liaison between the department and central University Offices, federal, state, and city corporate agencies, and private foundations regarding externally funded grants. Please note this is a fixed-term position ending on August 31, 2025, subject to funding renewal.
The Accountant will provide analytical support to Tandon School of Engineering, reporting to the Manager, Compliance & Financial Operations. This role will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing a portfolio of operating and designated budgets. The Accountant will be responsible for creating financial reports, forecasting revenue & expenses, preparing profit and loss statements and loading budgets.

The IT Engagement Program Manager is responsible for inviting and supporting a high level of engagement across NYU IT staff. Specifically, the Program Manager plans, executes, and delivers employee engagement programs and initiatives for NYU IT. This individual makes improvements to programs as policies change, the organization’s needs change, and/or engagement is lower than desired. The Program Manager recommends and creates new engagement programs as gaps are identified. This entails creating documentation for programs with timelines, processes, and cycles. This position researches NYU IT technology tools to recommend and execute opportunities to streamline and automate tasks in engagement programs. The Program Manager captures and analyzes engagement participation data and variances to prepare reports, summaries and recommendations for leadership. Other responsibilities include creating feedback loops for engagement programs to drive change, and creating communication documentation, marketing strategy, and website presence for engagement programs. The individual in this role manages IT Engagement program budgets to stay within guidelines and create savings opportunities. The incumbent models and supports the NYU IT Core Beliefs in all aspects of work. The Program Manager manages two student employees as appropriate, to support their development, deliver results, and contribute to a positive culture.
Responsible to the Chair / Associate Chair of the Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care to provide direct management oversight of assigned pre-doctoral academic administration and monitoring of many aspects of the dental student's education conducted in the dental care center. The principle role of the Academic Coordinator will include both the daily monitoring of students activity in the dental care center and long-term management of both the patient care (management of the patient pool of the group practices) and the performance of the students in the dental care center. Collaborates with dental students, faculty and clinic manager to resolve patient problems. Ensures patient records are completed; encounter forms are tracked for student academic credit and remitted to clinic management for processing.
The Assistant Director of Visitor Experience & Student Engagement plays a critical role in the recruitment strategy for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The person in this position is responsible for helping to manage NYU's extensive Admissions Ambassador program of 175+ student staff members on our Washington Square campus, and serve as a liaison with cohorts of students on our campuses in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai. The incumbent plays a critical role in guiding the personal and professional development of our student ambassadors, offering mentorship, and ensuring a work environment that enriches the student experience. In addition, the Assistant Director helps to oversee our NYU visitor center locations (2 physical spaces in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn) where we welcome over 100,000 prospective students annually. The person in this position will work in conjunction with the Marketing and Visitor Relations team and the division of Enrollment Management to enhance the overall visitor and overall customer experience for NYU. They will also play a key role in creating a strong partnership with student life leaders and groups across the University in order to plan and execute annual on- and off-campus special events for prospective students, families, community-based organizations, college counselors, and alumni volunteers.
Provide technical support for assigned area of operation in the Department of Film & Television, Tisch School of the Arts. Operate a wide variety of production or post production equipment including specialized equipment requiring significant training. Instruct students and faculty on operating equipment; conduct individual and group training workshops, and demonstrate use of equipment. Advise students and faculty on equipment that would best meet their technical needs. Perform skilled maintenance and extensive repairs on complex equipment and parts.
Arts and Science is seeking a dynamic Administrative Aide II to join the College of Arts and Science Student Affairs department. This individual will perform a wide range of clerical, secretarial and general office duties including those of a confidential nature; for the national scholarship study abroad programs. Prioritize office activities and delegate work to student and/or casual employees. Respond to inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the departmental offerings and policies. Interact with the general public and act as NYU contact/liaison. Interact with University personnel including those at the senior level regarding specific issues and problems. Customize and/or compose letters in response to requests for information. Perform general word processing duties utilizing intermediate to advanced-level functions. Modify and/or create databases and complex spreadsheets. Monitor complex department budgets and/or grants.
