The Senior Director is a leadership position within the Budget Office, with management and oversight responsibilities for the University's consolidated and Unit Budgeting, Financial Planning and Analysis and Reporting and select strategic projects. Prepare, implement, and maintain the University's multi-year operational financial plans for the Washington Square and global campuses. Work with various University colleagues to develop financial plans for major new initiatives and programs. Work closely with the Treasurer's Office to plan, implement and manage planning and borrowings for capital projects. Work closely with the University's executive leadership to present alternative scenarios for strategic budgetary decision making. Conceptualize new financial reporting formats to support managerial decision- making at all levels across the University. Oversee the preparation and monitoring of revenue and expense budgets for the University. Provide fiscal management guidance to administrators throughout the University with respect to strategic financial planning. Supervise one or more financial analysts. The Senior Director is a strategic-thinker who regularly identifies issues related to budgeting and financial planning across the University and then guides and oversees the implementation of business process improvements. The Senior Director is responsible for ensuring that all Budget Office work products within his/her area of responsibility are of high quality and delivered on time. The Senior Director coordinates and collaborates on all work efforts with his/her counterpart Director in the Budget Office, as well as works closely with both the Vice President, Budget and Planning to ensure smooth operations of the department overall. The Director regularly works with counterparts in other University offices and the schools to coordinate work and identify and resolve issues; prepares and makes presentations to the Vice President, the CFO, the Executive Vice President and at times, the Board of Trustees. The Senior Director may represent the VP for strategic projects, key initiatives and planning meetings.
Manage all business aspects of NYU's Orthodontics department to satisfy its mission including budgets, contract negotiations, and coordination of the daily business operations. Prepare standard budgets, letters of understanding, confidentiality forms and contracts. Work closely with the Chair of Orthodontics in recruiting new funding sources, projects, and investigators for the department. Develop and supervise all laboratories, experiments and research activities at the department adhere to OSHA and Article 28 Safety protocols and policies. Instruct faculty and students in laboratory experimentation techniques, protocols, and preparation of thesis proposals.

Gasteroenterology MD Part-time from 7-14 hours per week: The NYU Student Health Center (SHC) Specialty Unit is seeking a part-time Gastroenterologist to provide medical consultation 7-14 hours/wk for our population of more than 50,000 NYU undergraduates and graduate students. Working on-site with a dedicated RN/LPN team, the specialist would see students on referral from SHC providers in primary care, travel medicine, and women’s health. Common GI diagnoses including IBS and IBD, and many students present with undifferentiated symptoms. On-site testing and procedures include blood draws, anoscopy, and H pylori breath-testing. Imaging, other breath-testing, and EGDs are arranged by referral to external sites under the students’ insurances. Additional on-site specialists include nutrition, endocrinology, dermatology, and neurology, among others. Working with a motivated and diverse student population is rewarding, and the team works well together to assure the best service in support of students' academic success.
Take film based and digital intra-oral and extra oral radiographic imaging (e.g. cone beam computed tomography, and bitewing, periapical, occlusal and panoramic views in analog/film and digital/plate/sensor formats). Review radiographs within guidelines. Process and route film based and digital radiographic images. Greet, screen, and direct patients. Confirm patient is authorized for a radiographic examination. Maintain cleanliness of the work area and quality and safety standards; ensure proper recycling, disposal of infectious materials and adherence to infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance.
Provide the first level of customer service to patients of the dental clinic, from greeting and routing patients to record maintenance and cashier duties. Monitor daily clinic operations, within guidelines. Assign and review work of and train a number of student and/or casual employees engaged in routine tasks. Assign patients to dental students. Maintain student and patient appointment books. Triage emergencies. Arrange for substitute patients as cancellations occur. Schedule follow-up examinations. Ensure proper processing of health-related transactions; calculate payments. Update and maintain files and records. Provide suggestions that improve existing policies and procedures. Handle inquiries requiring additional investigation and/or specialized knowledge.
Provide excellent customer service and serve as primary source of information to general public and patients on clinic hours, clinic policies and procedures, fees and payment schedules, insurance and provide general and more specialized information. Promote customer service efforts and assist with efforts to measure and improve patient satisfaction for the College of Dentistry; recommend improvements to telephone communication standards/protocols. Utilize answering service software and NYU telecommunications options to monitor call volume and distribution, abandonment rates, recall program and messages left; prepare and review call volume reports. Utilize the Patient Assignment system to schedule and confirm appointments and assign patients to students. Prescreen patients for appointments. Maintain and update various databases.
Oversee the highly visible and mission critical function of providing general technology assistance and Helpdesk functions for all users of technology at NYU School of Law. Manage the day-to-day operations, define and oversee processes for Helpdesk (faculty, staff, admin office computers, smartphones, printers, consulting services), Student Services (exam readiness, wireless support, student laptops support), Training, Communications, and Change Management (new services training and information), and public computers and printers (clinics, journals, library, email stations). Ensure effective, efficient, and timely delivery of technology services offered through the Law ITS Client Services group.
New York University, Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Experiential Learning in the Office of Student Engagement. The Associate Director will strategically develop, implement, and evaluate experiential learning initiatives across the Stern School with a particular focus on Undergraduate student population (e.g., Stern’s new Business, Technology and Entrepreneurship, BTE program) including student-driven projects with startups, SMEs, nonprofits and faculty, simulations, and corporate immersion visits.
