Primarily responsible to manage compliance in EPA and OSHA programs. This may include: HazCom, Lab safety, hazardous and universal waste management, lead and asbestos management, water quality, NYC Right-toKnow Law compliance, safety training, and grants review. Occupational Health and Safety programs. Manage and maintain all relevant records and ensure that all appropriate records are filed with the relevant regulatory agencies. Conduct hazard assessments and provide training to ensure University is in compliance with federal laws and regulations.CC, USTs, ODS, Lead Management and Asbestos Management. (Subject to change as the University EHS needs grow).

SHIFT: Wednesday - Sunday 3:00PM-11:30PM
Primarily responsible for hands-on maintenance of HVAC systems and related auxiliary equipment.
Provide the first level of customer service to patients of the dental clinic, from greeting and routing patients to record maintenance and cashier duties. Monitor daily clinic operations, within guidelines. Assign and review work of and train a number of student and/or casual employees engaged in routine tasks. Assign patients to dental students. Maintain student and patient appointment books. Triage emergencies. Arrange for substitute patients as cancellations occur. Schedule follow-up examinations. Ensure proper processing of health-related transactions; calculate payments. Update and maintain files and records. Provide suggestions that improve existing policies and procedures. Handle inquiries requiring additional investigation and/or specialized knowledge.
Under the direction of the Manager of HVAC, oversee and direct the preventative maintenance operational needs of the HVAC Shop. Direct and manage HVAC Mechanics and related trades, contractors, and clerical staff; arrange HVAC operations relating to special events. Consult with school personnel and facilities/building managers to establish priorities and level of service within budget constraints. Ensure work performed by the HVAC Shop adheres to NYC building codes and University policies (e.g., schedules, noise control, cleanliness of site, etc.) Participate in architectural and engineering planning for new projects as required. Manage HVAC Shop in absence of Manager.
SHIFT: Monday and Tuesday 3:00PM - 11:00PM, Friday and Saturday 11:00PM - 7:00AM, Sunday 3:00PM - 11:00PM
Operate, maintain and perform minor repairs to combined heat and power systems and equipment to perform safely and efficiently; monitor and respond to changes in operating conditions to maintain continuous plant performance; perform preventive maintenance duties and routines.
Performs supervisory, advanced technical and administrative supervision for Cogeneration Plant Maintenance & Operations shops. Provides support as directed to the Sr, Manager & Maintenance Manager. Directs and schedules the preventative maintenance and repair of Plant equipment. Assists Plant Management in the design, planning, installation, and commissioning of planned Plant Expansion.
SHIFT: Thursday - Monday 2:30PM - 11:00PM
Primarily responsible for hands-on maintenance of HVAC systems and related auxiliary equipment.
Responsible for providing front line customer service for the College of Dentistry to all patients, visitors, students, faculty administrators and staff. Provide patients and visitors with information and assist with way-finding. Answer telephones, screen calls and take messages. Respond to routine inquiries and provide information regarding clinic hours, appointments, general clinic policies and procedures, patient care center locations, programs, events and consult with supervisors or others as needed, on more complex issues.
Manage the design and construction of capital improvements and major infrastructure projects for New York University's Planning and Construction Division to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved budgets, schedules and quality standards. Manage consultants, contractors and other vendors to optimize financial results and quality performance. Maintain highest standards of ethics and integrity.
