Work closely with the Tisch School of the Arts Assistant Dean of Finance on strategic planning for all aspects of the revenue and financial aid budgets. Perform modeling analyses on tuition and other  revenue- related areas in preparation of multi-year financial plan. Prepare and manage financial aid budget, including creating systems for tracking revenue and donor scholarships over time. Analyze and synthesize student data for enrollment management purposes. Create projections, charts, reports and presentations to brief senior staff, chairs and administrators. Train and manage a direct report with primary responsibility for grants, production awards, fees and other sources of income.

Oversee, plan and coordinate all aspects of the NYU Game Center’s annual game incubator program, including providing production guidance and mentorship to current incubator teams, maintaining relationships with incubator alumni, and raising the public profile of incubator projects. Recruit and coordinate industry advisors to the incubator, including advisory board members and executive producers. In coordination with the Industry Liaison, manage programming for the Center of Excellence in Digital Game Development (CoE) and oversee the department’s industry-facing relationships and communications. Raise awareness of the Game Center and the creative work of Game Center students and faculty through event & conference coordination, social media and mass communication tools. Build partnerships within the games industry, game-adjacent fields, and other stakeholders; represent the Game Center at industry events. Plan and execute programs for students and incubator participants that foster a sense of community within the Game Center.

University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. UDAR's endeavors raise funds for immediate University use and also for the University's endowment.   The Assistant Dean of Development serves as a senior-level Lead School Fundraiser (LSF) for NYU Silver working in close partnership with the Silver Dean. Reporting into NYU’s University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) office and to the Dean of Silver, the Assistant Dean is responsible for developing a portfolio of prospects with the capacity to make 6, 7, and 8+ figure gifts. The Assistant Dean is directly responsible for raising $3-4 million annually with the expectation to increase that each year. Primary leadership responsibilities include supporting the Dean's major and principal gift strategies and activities, with a strong emphasis on the Dean's top ten donors and prospects. Work in partnership with the Dean to manage the Dean's Council, including agenda content, membership, recruitment, and retention of members. Provide senior-level expertise, partnership and collaboration in support of an interest-based, donor-centric assignment and fundraising approach. The Assistant Dean is part of a larger team who all have the opportunity to raise money across the University, including Silver. Serve as a content expert on Silver's key funding areas and functions as an ambassador and advocate for Silver's philanthropic priorities. Budget responsibilities are specific to Silver development expenses, supported by UDARs centralized Operations & Finance Team.   UDAR encourages work-life integration for our employees, therefore this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
