NYU’s Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Aide supporting the Executive Programs department. The selected candidate will coordinate department programs and logistics and provide customer service and support to students, administrators, and faculty. The incumbent will be responsible for calendar management; scheduling, travel and event coordination; drafting correspondence; tracking budgets; updating web pages; processing reimbursements and special projects as needed.
Will support the Associate Director of Financial Planning and Operations to provide analytical support to Steinhardt's 11 Academic Departments and Senior Leadership. Assist in creating Profits and Loss Reports and projection models to forecast areas of growth across academic programs or to highlight programs where resource contraction and/or reallocation should occur. Will also perform a variance analysis on Steinhardt's revenue/expenses relative to the School's Financial Plan. Will regularly present findings and recommendations to leadership to guide their decision-making.
Arts and Science is seeking a dynamic Administrative Aide I to join the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, Career Services. This individual will perform a broad range of clerical, secretarial, and general office duties including those of a confidential nature. Respond to inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the undergraduate/graduate departmental offerings and policies. Assist with the prioritization of office activities and delegate to and monitor work of student and/or casual employees. Compose letters and correspondence. Perform general word processing, spreadsheet and data entry duties utilizing intermediate-level functions. Monitor moderately complex budgets and/or grants.
Reporting to the Associate Registrar, the Assistant Registrar is a functional expert with thorough knowledge of business practice, academic policy, compliance matters and operational procedure in the Office of the University Registrar with specialization in compliance, academic credentials (transcripts, diplomas, certificates, etc.), enrollment/degree certification, document imaging, and grade processing. The Assistant Registrar is a proactive member of the managerial team, providing both oversight and support of day-to-day functions with the ability to resolve most complex escalated issues. As an SIS “super-user,” the Assistant Registrar analyzes and configures high-priority and high-volume SIS processes that impact student records. The Assistant Registrar is expected to leverage his/her functional SIS expertise to identify, recommend, and implement streamlined processes and improved services.
Provide advising throughout the financial aid process to prospective, new and current students and their families. Provide positive direct client services to students, by ensuring compliance with federal, state, and university aid application processes. Help inform and problem solve for students to enable them to fund their NYU education. Educate students on the steps and impacts of their financial aid during and after graduation.

As an SIS “super-user,” the Assistant Registrar analyzes and configures high-priority and high-volume SIS processes that impact student records. The Assistant Registrar is expected to leverage his/her functional SIS expertise to identify, recommend, and implement streamlined processes and improved services.
Sterilize dental instruments including instrument cassettes, bur blocks, endo file boxes, and handpieces. Track dental instruments through all phases of the cleaning and sterilization process by utlilizing scanning technology. Perform routine maintenance on a variety of dental equipment. Operate disinfection and sterilization equipment. Troubleshoot error messages, perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation of equipment. Maintain files and records and provide support to clinic office staff.
Monitor daily Central Sterilization Unit (CSU) activities, within guidelines, including the sterilization of instrument cassettes, bur blocks, endofile boxes and handpieces. Examine clinical hand pieces to ensure they are properly maintained after each use (purging and lubrication of each unit) and ensure compliance with all workflow and infection control policies and procedures. Periodically inspect quality of instrument cassettes and report any deficiencies to the Assistant Director. Track dental instruments through all phases of the cleaning and sterilization process by utilizing scanning technology. Sterilize instruments, operate autoclave, and perform routine maintenance on a variety of simple dental equipment (disassemble, clean, reassemble, store). Maintain inventory, assist with ordering supplies, stock medical disposable goods in storage areas, and ensure central sterilization has all necessary materials). Answer telephones; respond to requests from internal and external customers.

University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. UDAR's endeavors raise funds for immediate University use and also for the University's endowment.
The Assistant Director, Donor Relations and Stewardship, is an integral part of the NYU Arts & Science development team whose primary purpose is to develop, assess, and manage donor relations and stewardship initiatives for NYU Arts & Science. Reports to and works closely with the Associate Dean of Development to establish, manage, and maintain effective, efficient, and impactful donor relations initiatives, including high-level donor stewardship events and VIP donor communications and engagement initiatives. Develop forward-thinking, creative strategies for engaging major and principal-level gift donors, as well as efficient and effective systems for managing stewardship projects across NYU Arts & Science.
