Perform a broad range of clerical, secretarial, and general office duties including those of a confidential nature. Respond to inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the undergraduate/graduate departmental offerings and policies. Assist with the prioritization of office activities and delegate to and monitor work of student and/or casual employees. Compose letters and correspondence. Perform general word processing, spreadsheet and data entry duties utilizing intermediate-level functions. Monitor moderately complex budgets and/or grants.
The Learning and Teaching Nexus at the NYU School of Professional Studies seeks an individual to serve as the Service Design Lead (SDL). The SDL has primary ownership of the Nexus patron support model and is responsible for building positive patron relations at SPS. This position engages in work to enhance the NYU SPS Learning Ecosystem across the following areas: Learner-Centric Course Architecture; Goal-Driven Technology Adoption; Incubation of Faculty Labs and Initiatives; Learning Data and Research; and Design Sessions and Solutions Events for Internal and External Clients. As the lead service designer and problem solver, the SDL supervises a team of Service Associates to ensure each member of the team provides exceptional customer service. The SDL anticipates emerging service needs and designs/implements processes and protocols to deliver comprehensive, scalable solutions and achieve high-level response times. As a change agent committed to raising service standards, the SDL proactively looks for opportunities to improve the patron experience through the evaluation of team productivity and the analysis of data. The SDL also works closely with the Nexus team leaders to continuously enhance Nexus support resources and service procedures, and develop creative solutions for the community. Additionally, the SDL is an excellent communicator who applies best practices in service design to mentor and train Service Associates and improve team performance.

The Nurse Manager will supervise clinical nursing operations throughout the Student Health Center in a team. Each Nurse Manager is responsible for knowing the breadth of nursing services across multiple clinical areas but are assigned to specific areas as determined by the Director of Nursing and Medical Director. Nurse Managers are expected to perform routine supervisory tasks including performance evaluations, hiring, scheduling, and provide direct patient care when required. In addition, they are expected to show leadership in the areas of staff training and development, quality improvement, and health promotion initiatives that support the Student Health Center’s mission.

The Associate Director will assist with the development and implementation of career coaching initiatives for full-time MBA students, including 2-year MBA program and Focused (1-year) MBA programs in technology and fashion/luxury. The Associate Director will provide individual and group coaching to MBA students; evaluate career goals, interests, and values, and identify services to enhance students' career objectives. The selected candidate will develop career coaching initiatives including conceptualizing and planning programs and workshops on various topics (e.g., proactive job searches, interviewing techniques, career assessment, resume writing, mock interviews, and salary negotiations) and develop career-related programs with Stern's student clubs and organizations and alumni. The Associate Director will collaborate with Stern recruiters and career coaches to identify alumni in various industries and to identify and develop potential employment opportunities for current MBA students.
The Learning and Teaching Nexus at the NYU School of Professional Studies seeks an individual to serve as a Senior Learning Designer. The Senior Learning Designer will collaborate with faculty on the development and implementation of evidence-based teaching strategies to support the educational goals of the faculty and school. This role mentors contractors, consultants, and student workers on the departmental processes as needed and as assigned. This role will collaborate with the Director of Operations and Learning and support the Executive Director on teaching support services, programs, and other teaching-related priorities. They may also coordinate services with other NYU instructional support units.
Arts & Science is seeking a talented Administrative Aide II to join the Graduate School of Arts & Science Professional Development team. University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. UDAR's endeavors raise funds for immediate University use and also for the University's endowment.
The Stewardship Data Manager is an integral part of the Donor Relations and Stewardship (DRS) team, responsible for managing stewardship-related data needs and fund management efforts, including those related to donor impact reporting, endowed fund reporting, the Sir Harold Acton donor recognition society, stewardship-related events, and presidential and SVP gift acknowledgements. Strengthen data analysis efforts and establish stewardship metrics that will shape strategic planning in donor relations. Manage stewardship data needs across systems, including Advance/Blackbaud CRM, Award Management, and Ovrture, to ensure continuity and accurate fund management record keeping. Serve as a key thought partner for colleagues in DRS and across UDAR, coordinating across units to establish and maintain more accurate, efficient, and timely data retrievals, updates, and analysis for stewardship related projects.
