Provide advising throughout the financial aid process to prospective, new and current students and their families. Exercise independent judgment in the management of operational details of financial aid processes involving direct interaction with students. Provide guidance and communication to students accordingly. Review incoming financial aid application and any supporting documentation needed to determine the accuracy of the financial and household information reported on the FAFSA.
Provide financial aid advising to prospective, new and current students and their families. Educate students on the steps and impacts of their financial aid during and after graduation. Provide positive direct client services to students, by ensuring compliance with federal, state, and university financial aid application processes. The Senior HPC Specialist supports New York University's High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Research Cloud services by partnering with faculty and other research professionals in support of the HPC environment. The work will involve the installation, testing, maintenance, upgrades, and administration of compilers and applications on HPC resources, generating system usage and utilization data, developing and teaching tutorials on HPC topics, and maintaining documentation for a rapidly changing HPC environment. Fine-tune cluster and cloud configuration which involves managing queues, schedulers, and other resources in accordance with HPC policies, while working closely with the HPC and Research Cloud Systems team on hardware and storage configuration.
