The Manager will support the implementation of NYC ACRE and Offshore Wind Innovation Hub programs. They will direct key areas of incubator/accelerator management and tasks: develop RFP material, active recruitment of startup applicants, startup review and analysis, portfolio company advisory, developing and maintaining an external network of stakeholders and investors, support execution of major flagship events, develop curriculum and activities for portfolio companies, and occasional support of all Urban Future Lab programs. Manager must as a minimum be in-person at our Sunset Park location 2 days weekly and 1 day in the Downtown Brooklyn office. This is 1 year fixed term grant funded position.

Develop and manage career resources and programming provided to all alumni of NYU Law. Research developments, trends and opportunities in the legal job market and profession to be used by the School of Law's Office of Career Services (OCS) for career counseling and related departmental activities. Provide intensive career counseling and career information to JD and LLM alumni on complex job and career transition issues. Cultivate relationships between OCS and peers at other law school career offices, DART, lateral recruiting professionals and alumni mentors. Oversee statistical report preparation, online alumni job listings, and related services. Serve as point of contact for employers seeking candidates and related requests.

Provide academic advisement and related student services to prospective and current students in the undergraduate programs of Nutrition and Food Studies. Interpret applicable University policies and procedures, program requirements, acceptable electives, and alternative/ substitute courses. Plan and implement recruitment and orientation activities. Facilitate seminars and events that enhance the academic experience and professional development of undergraduate students. Interface with appropriate University offices and departments to expedite processing of online graduation tracking, transfer credit evaluations and reviews, and substitutions. The Special Programs Administrator will split their time providing administrative support to the Office of University Human Resources ('UHR') and the Administrative Management Council (“AMC”). The UHR support responsibility will consist of full support for the UHR recognition program events. The AMC support responsibility will consist of analysis and organization of processes and communications for the AMC. Monitor expenditures; act as administrative liaison for the AMC with other University offices; interpret and apply University policies, practices, and procedures to address various administrative matters while partnering with the elected officers of the AMC.
Reporting to the Residence Hall Director, and a member of the three-person leadership team for the assigned House, this live-in position manages the House's day-to-day community development services and programs in an effort to create residential living and learning communities. Supervise Resident Assistants. Liaison with House Council. Provide crisis intervention to residents; assess nature of problems and resolve or refer to supervisor for resolution. Conduct initial investigation of alleged violations of University and residence policies, hold meetings, interview participants, determine degree/seriousness of violations, and issue sanctions. This position is responsible for assigned after-hours/weekend/holiday on-call duties on a rotational basis to address any House based emergency.
This position works with instructors and educational technologists to design and develop online courses (for-credit and non-credit/continuing education) for the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, ensuring high quality course materials are created and courses fulfill their objectives while providing a quality student experience. This is accomplished through the application of evidence-based pedagogy, knowledge of educational technology tools and systems, and effective implementation of project management practices.
