The MAE Laboratory Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Materials Lab and the Measurements & Controls Lab for the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Collaborate with with teaching faculties to facilitate the teaching of laboratory courses; supporting the department in developing new curricula and lab projects; and supervise and train staff. Establishing laboratory safety training, FDNY C14 certification training and maintain equipment and instrument service records. Supervise equipment operations; create and disseminate standard operating procedures and policies. In addition, the position will contribute to the department’s research and training mission.
