Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Master's degree preferred
Required Experience:
7-10 years' relevant experience as a human resources manager/director or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include in depth knowledge of a variety of areas in human resources, and experience managing staff, administrative processes, and projects. Must include supervisory experience, employee relations, counseling employees, recruitment, training and development, and compensation.
Preferred Experience:
Human Resources experience in an academic environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing. Ability to develop and interpret policies and procedures and to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Certification in HR; working knowledge of HRIS systems.
