Manage a budget of $800,000 annually for activities for the Office of Student Life and Services, (SLS) including Orientation & Commencement. Oversee the daily operation and management of the Office of Student Life and Services, (SLS) including communications in consult with the Associate Dean on internal and external administrative and policy matters. Complies data, statistics, and other information and materials for meetings, lectures, etc. The Administrative Manager provides a wide range of administrative and operational support to the office of Student Life & Services on sensitive/complex matters.
Bachelor's Degree in a related area
Master's Degree in a related area
3+ years professional experience in the academic setting and/or administrative support role. Operations, budget and supervision experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years Preference is given to those with prior experience working with a STEM population and/or providing support to a senior executive. Experience in event management is also an asset.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated skills in spreadsheet applications, written and verbal communication, working with students, and strong commitment and sensitivity to diversity and inclusion.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Calendars, and MS Word, and Excel.
