In this role, the TL leverages technology to create community adoption plans and patron support models to guide educationally-grounded utilization of official NYU-supported software. As the creative technologist in-chief, the TL also identifies and evaluates emerging technologies, conducts cost-benefit analyses, determines potential return on investment, and works with Nexus colleagues to architect, launch, and manage technologies to advance learning and teaching innovations. The TL works closely with the Director of Research and Development (DRD), the Director of Operations and Learning (DOL), and the Learning Experience Lead to use research-informed approaches to continuously enhance the Nexus technology infrastructure.
