Position Summary

Endless Frontier Labs, founded at New York University, Stern School of Business, guides scientific and technical founders through a performance-driven mentoring process.  Participating startups receive access to mentorship, venture capital, and business development over the nine-month program.  To support these efforts, NYU Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Endless Frontier Labs.  

 

In collaboration with the Director and Associate Director(s), the selected candidate will create and execute strategy for core programmatic operations and events for Endless Frontier Labs. Organize and manage all internal and external Endless Frontier Labs events, including venture recruiting events, student workshops, and Endless Frontier Labs program sessions. Manage strategic marketing and communications for program, venture recruitment, and events. Evaluate overall effectiveness of Endless Frontier Labs events, activities, programs, and communications; provide recommendations to the Director and lead initiatives to support continuous improvement of these efforts. Working with the Director, prepare and develop budget proposals and operating plan for the program. Supervise clerical staff and student employees.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years relevant work experience in program management or event planning, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience and confidence working with high performing teams and multiple stakeholders. Proven ability in program management or event planning. Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. Strong, team-oriented work ethic with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Ability to adapt quickly to changing scenarios with limited supervision. Highly organized with strong project management experience. Demonstrated ability to take initiative to anticipate and respond to emerging needs. Passion to consistently meet or exceed performance objectives. Ability to travel internationally.
