Position Summary

Perform capital and debt-related Treasury operations including administering capital lease management, internal and external loan servicing, bond proceeds reimbursement procedures, debt service payments and all related bookkeeping duties. Prepare the organization's responses to required external data requests including multiple survey responses and continuing disclosure postings with a focus on maintaining compliance as well as positive relationships with the University’s banking vendors, credit providers, rating agencies and the investor community. Provide analytical and technical support to treasury-related activities.


Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Business or related fields.

Required Experience:
1+ years relevant finance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
1+ years relevant experience in a financial modeling or operations role at a large institution, public or private, for-profit or non-profit. Accounting software experience, as well as Access/Oracle. Public finance experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent analytical skills, logical approaches to problem-solving, and capacity to think and act strategically. Financial analysis skills including practice with financial modeling and project management in a large corporate, and/or banking services setting. Ability to independently prioritize workflow, request assistance from colleagues and external partners and achieve on-time execution of deliverables. Strong written/graphical and interpersonal communication skills. Command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and other database environments. Ability to research, synthesize, report and recommend solutions for complex financial problems.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with debt structures, capital markets, and accounting concepts. Knowledge of tax-exempt compliance requirements and legal documents.
