Provide high quality patient care and education to a diverse University community in accordance with established standards and medical ethics, policies and procedures of the Student Health Center. Oversee adherence to patients' rights and responsibilities.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and NYS Nurse Practitioner license in appropriate specialty with prescription privileges, and DEA registration or completion of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program and a New York State Physician Assistant license.
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree
Required Experience:
3+ years of relevant experience in ambulatory or primary care setting including 2 years as an adult or family Nurse Practitioner or an equivalent combination or 3 years of relevant experience in a primary care setting as a Physician Assistant.
Preferred Experience:
Student health experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills. Must have BLS certification.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Willingness and ability to meet demanding and flexible work schedule.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $97,000.00 - $149,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
