NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for a Program Administrator, International Exchanges & Special Program. The selected candidate will plan and implement initiatives for Stern's Undergraduate College international exchanges and special programs (IE&SP). The Program Administrator will create and administer the International Business Exchange program (IBEX) application process; develop and manage short-term international immersion programs; oversee the Summer @ Stern application, selection and orientation process for visiting students; serve as an official Trip Leader and NYU Campus Security Authority (CSA) on trips with students and serve as the primary on-call NY emergency contact for faculty, staff, students and parents during the international trips.
Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years in travel planning, as well as developing and administering programs, activities, and marketing strategies or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have strong problem solving skills and the demonstrated ability to engage with diverse populations and stakeholders. Candidates must also have excellent written and verbal communication, as well as organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with managing budgets and expense tracking. Knowledge of standard office productivity software - especially Excel and PowerPoint. 2 years’ experience leading student trips and experience with social media marketing is preferred.
