NYU’s prestigious Leonard N. Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for a Career Education Administrator. The Administrator will plan and carry out core career programming for Stern MBA students including Langone, Focused MBA, MBA1s, MBA2s, etc. providing them with crucial information and resources for their job search. The Administrator will research vendors, special topics, and collaborate with department leadership on curriculum for workshops. This position will track, collect, synthesize and analyze program attendance, workshop feedback, and other data in order to identify trends and make recommendations to facilitate decision making. The Career Education Administrator will also plan, implement, and lead special career events such as professional headshot photoshoots and resume review, create communications, manage operating budget for relevant career resources, as well as manage relationships with vendors and consultants.
Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree along with 2 years’ relevant experience in recruiting or within an academic environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. S/he must have excellent organizational, communication, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. The selected candidate will have the ability to interact with a diverse population at all levels. The ability to supervise staff and manage budgets is essential. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Higher Education, Counseling or related are preferred.
