The Clinical Immersion Administrator provides leadership in planning and executing on-campus clinical immersion events, held three times each academic year for Speech@NYU students, by facilitating collaboration across the department and university, and with external partners, and by project managing each event. The role secures placement sites and populations for the immersion events, meeting distance education students’ clinical learning needs, and ensures a seamless interface between the on campus and the distance education of students, utilizing clinic facilities, populations, and personnel as appropriate.
Required Education: Graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology or related subject, CCC-SLP qualification and NYS SLP license.

Required Experience: Min 2 years clinical supervision experience, as this position will be required to supervise students during clinical immersion week and must have an understanding of clinical supervision requirements. Project management experience is required. Experience within a higher education setting also required.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written language skills. Ability to plan and prioritize various projects to ensure successful completion. The ideal candidate will be able to manage the clinical immersion event timelines, budget and staff. Technologically proficient with the following software: • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) • Google Suite (Docs, Form, Sheets) • Adobe Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator)
