NYU Student Health Center (SHC) seeks a dynamic and dedicated Associate Medical Director (AMD) to lead the SHC's Primary Care Services. The AMD will direct patient care management using evidenced-based strategies and metrics while planning/coordinating clinical services. The AMD will act as site director for the NYU School of Medicine Clinical Clerkship in Ambulatory Care and will supervise training for medical students. He/she will develop and direct policies, procedures and strategies related to primary care.
Required Education: MD or DO with NYS License; Board Certification with maintenance of certification after initial certification.
Required Experience: 3 years' post-residency clinical experience and 1 year experience in the delivery of Primary Care services. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration.
Preferred Experience: Experience with adolescent and young adult populations. Experience in quality management for Primary Care.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
