  • Position Summary

    NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Director to lead undergraduate professional development and career services, ensuring students secure appropriate and diverse career opportunities that match their interests. The Executive Director will spearhead undergraduate efforts to cultivate and leverage global employer relationships by crafting and leading a strategy that is aligned with students’ interests and college priorities as well as identifying, cultivating, and stewarding key corporate relationships that support those strategic priorities. The Executive Director will partner with University and Stern offices to create professional development and mentoring opportunities to strengthen connections between alumni and students, students and employers, and undergraduate and MBA/graduate students. The Executive Director will also strengthen the value of the Stern Alumni Network for students and alumni through the development of unique programs that bring together and engage these communities with each other and the college.

    Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree or MBA preferred) along with 7+ years of experience in the area of career development, professional development, career coaching, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The selected candidate will have strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, strategic planning and management skills. The ability to manage productive relationships and the ability develop, implement, and evaluate innovative programs with quantifiable results is also essential.
