  • Position Summary

    The Graduate School of Arts and Science is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director to join the Master's College. This individual will research, develop and implement advertising and marketing strategies to promote the Master's College to prospective and current students. Review and analyze enrollment data and recommend new yield events and/or social media strategies based on feedback and data collection. Manage the planning and administration of events and activities; implement policies and procedures and manage events' activities and budget. Manage fundraising and alumni activities; establish and maintain affiliations with outside academic organizations and individuals to solicit participation. Assist the director with academic program activities; advise current and prospective students. Manage office operations and staff; hire, train, prioritize assignments, review work and evaluate performance.

    Qualifications

    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree and

    Preferred Education:
    Advanced degree in Humanities or Social Sciences.

    Required Experience:
    3-5 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience with program development, budget management, staff supervision and event planning.

    Preferred Experience:
    Experience working in an academic environment.

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Ability to develop and oversee an academic event programming. Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels. Excellent organizational, writing, and public speaking skills.
