Support Director of Institutional Events on all aspects of event planning, logistics and management, including for faculty meetings. Track third-party and exam-time space usage requests. Prioritize and coordinate Dean's events, and activities. Assess and resolve ad hoc issues across departments. Support additional Dean's Office day-to-day functions as needed.
3+ years providing administrative support including written communications, and supervising office operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience at a non-profit or academic institution; experience performing administrative duties for multiple principals simultaneously.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Outstanding writing skills. Excellent organization, planning, interpersonal, and networking skills. Strong detail-orientation. Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, creatively resolve problems, and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact in a professional manner with all levels of faculty, staff, students and outside groups. Strong knowledge of MS Word; MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
