To support corporate relations within our Career Services Office, Stern has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Corporate Relations.
The Associate Director will work with the Senior Director to develop short and long-term strategic plans for the Corporate Relations team. S/he will liaise with key internal stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to corporate outreach, translating each team’s business needs for the corporate environment and identify opportunities for organizations to engage with faculty, students and staff. S/he will coach companies on the most effective ways to partner with the school, manage a calendar of on-site corporate visits, and engage in business development for new prospective partners. The Associate Director will also work in partnership with student leaders to solicit corporate sponsorship and speakers for student activities.
The selected candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 5 years' relevant professional experience in client management, business development, marketing experience, fund raising or an equivalent combination. Superb writing, public speaking, interpersonal and organizational skills are required. A proven ability to cultivate productive relationships is also essential. Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
