NYU’s prestigious Leonard N. Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for a Planning and Academic Services Program Administrator within the Undergraduate College. Under the direction of the Assistant Dean and Director, the Program Administrator will collect, synthesize and analyze enrollment, demographic, student success, course and financial data, including identifying trends and generating reports/visualizations. This position will manage the processing of action based scholarships for undergraduate students including coordinating, reviewing and evaluating applications for the Undergraduate College. S/he will manage the administrative process for the Undergraduate College's learning assessment plan to meet the assurance of learning requirements for NYU and Stern’s accreditation organizations. The selected candidate will also work collaboratively with the Stern Budget Department to troubleshoot budget processing issues, improve financial aid services, and administer departmental budgets. In conjunction with Assistant Dean and Director, the incumbent will develop and maintain policy and procedure documents/manuals, and develop, implement and maintain systems that are unique to the Undergraduate College's planning and reporting needs and are in line with University and Stern protocols.
Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree along with 2-3 years’ relevant experience in higher education administration and/or related student services or comparable administrative experience. At least one year of experience with data collection, retrieval, statistical analysis, and synthesis is required. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, writing and quantitative/statistical skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required. S/he will have substantial experience with standard office software packages (i.e. Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint), ad hoc reporting tools (i.e. UDW+ or similar), and data visualization software (Tableau).
