  • Position Summary

    Our AAAHC accredited organization serves the Washington Square and Brooklyn locations and acts as a hub for health and wellness activities around the globe for students attending NYU at one of our many study away sites. With over 200 employees dedicated to providing high-quality, student-centered healthcare, NYU has been a leader in nationally recognized continuous quality improvement efforts and for providing fully integrated healthcare to our students. Provide high quality patient care and education to a diverse University community in accordance with established standards and medical ethics, policies and procedures of the Student Health Center. Oversee adherence to patients’ rights and responsibilities.


    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Nursing and NYS Nurse Practitioner license in appropriate specialty with prescription privileges.

    Required Experience:
    4 years' relevant experience in ambulatory setting including 2 years as an adult or family Nurse Practitioner or an equivalent combination.

    Preferred Experience:
    Student health experience.

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills. Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Must have CPR certification.

    Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Willingness and ability to meet demanding and flexible work schedule.
