  • Position Summary

    Plan and implement ongoing and special events that meet strategic goals of NYU | Dentistry; conceptualize themes, present ideas, research requests, assess feasibility, and make recommendations to ensure the implementation of successful, targeted events. Consult with Senior Director and Alumni Relations Officer on management of large-scale events; research vendors, options, pricing structures, etc. Project expenses; determine staffing, space, and equipment needs; conduct post-event evaluations and recommend improvements.

    Qualifications

    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree

    Required Experience:
    3 years' experience planning and implementing special events or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Preferred Experience:
    Related experience at a higher education institution.

    Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Experience managing budgets
