  • Position Summary

    Supervise the clinical, business and administrative operations of both the pre and post doctoral periodontal component of the Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry including: Grant Writing and developing research related activities; Responding to inquiries about the program; Managing student registration; Assisting with faculty recruitment; Scheduling, initiatives and evaluations; Serving as liaison with a variety of administrative offices to facilitate arrangements of meetings and appointments; and assisting with budget administration.


    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field

    Required Experience:
    3 years' relevant administrative experience, preferably in healthcare, to include proficiency in budgeting, grants management and contracts or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Preferred Experience:
    At least 2 years experience supervising office operations and staff.

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to disseminate information clearly and concisely. Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills. Must be professional and have the ability to work well with others as well as autonomously. Self-motivated, organized and ability to multi-task. Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point.
