  • Position Summary

    NYU Stern is one of the largest and most multifaceted business schools in the world and has always been among the most innovative schools programmatically. Stern has over 5,000 students and a suite of degree and certificate programs including the flagship undergraduate and full-time MBA programs; part-time, Executive and Global Executive MBA programs; a range of MS degrees; and newly-launched focused MBAs in Tech and in Fashion & Luxury and Executive MBA in Washington DC.

     

    NYU Stern and NYU Shanghai are partnering to deliver elite one-year master’s programs to prepare new and recent college graduates for successful China and Asia-focused business careers. The Assistant Director for NYU-Stern Shanghai Programs is an exciting opportunity to serve as a relationship manager and point of contact for these master’s programs and provide the highest level of customer service to students, administration and faculty. S/he will support Stern leadership in facilitating the involvement of faculty and industry leaders in curriculum and course development, as well as other programming. The Assistant Director will manage all aspects of client relationships related to logistics, planning and student services, and s/he will oversee all pre-program and pre-module activities and preparation. The selected candidate will also plan and manage data processing from NYU-Stern to partner schools and alumni and resolve student and alumni data issues as needed. This position is based primarily at NYU-Stern's New York City campus, with some potential to travel internationally. 

    Qualifications

    S/he will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of increasingly responsible professional-level experience, or equivalent. Experience in customer relationship management in a corporate environment or other client-facing positions within executive education, sales, business development or operations is essential Excellent analytical, interpersonal and negotiation skills are required. S/he will have strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills. The ability to interface effectively with a diverse population at all levels is required. The selected candidate will also be proficient with Excel and have demonstrated analytical skills.
