Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
3 - 5 years communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, digital media, or equivalent combination preferably in academic institution. Must include experience in creating and managing content in digital space including website, blogs, social media, multimedia content, and other online platforms.
Related experience at a college, university, or nonprofit organization is preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Must have strong and polished interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Thorough knowledge of digital marketing and experience using multiple platforms and technologies. Ability to work collaboratively across organizational lines. Knowledge of online marketing and recruitment process, including web content management systems. Experience in measuring and monitoring digital marketing and how analytics can be used to develop marketing and recruitment strategies. Experience working with and managing external vendors as well as internal stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of other PC/Mac programs. Position demands excellent attention to detail, effective communications, team collaboration and occasionally working outside regular business hours.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency in video, audio, digital photograph processes, and editing software. Web editing and HTML skills a plus. Chinese language skills a plus.
