College of Dentistry (DN1032)
Represent the College of Dentistry Dental Hygiene Programs to potential students through on-campus and off campus recruitment events (fairs, open houses, receptions, information sessions). Encourage applications from qualified students to achieve University and College diversity and geographic enrollment targets. Create and maintain students' admission packets (academic and extracurricular records, essay, letters of recommendation, standardized test scores, etc.), coordinate applicant interviews, and obtain additional information from students as needed. Advise students on application process (e.g., College programs, academic requirements, financial aid options, housing, and other student services).
Required Education: Bachelor's degree and
Preferred Education: Master's degree
Required Experience: 1 to 2 years admissions or related student services experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to promote College and to work independently as well as part of a team. Outstanding interpersonal, public speaking, and writing skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations and/or people. Valid drivers license. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel extensively.
