The Sales Assistant at the New York University’s Press will fulfill the metadata needs and systems of the Press. The Sales Assistant will also provide inside sales support, to specialty accounts, international accounts, and college instructors.
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree
Required Experience: 2 year of office experience.
Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of database management experience. Publishing experience a plus.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Proficiency with basic word processing and database software.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of and ability to update, edit and search a variety of online databases. Strong attention to detail.
