General Office Administration
The NYU School of Law is seeking a talented Administrative Secretary to support our Alumni Relations team. The qualified candidate will perform general assistance type office work for the department as their primary responsibility. Support our events and programming. Experience in a higher education administration setting and/or event planning background is also a plus. Perform clerical, secretarial, and general office duties for the department. Serve as office receptionist, answer phones, greet visitors and schedule appointments. Perform general word processing, spreadsheet and data entry duties utilizing basic level functions. Maintain simple department budgets. Delegate routine tasks to students.
Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience: 1 year of office experience.
Preferred Experience: 2 years of office experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Proficiency with basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Light, to moderate, accurate keyboarding.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Proficiency with intermediate Microsoft Word and basic Microsoft Excel. Moderate, accurate keyboarding.
