  • Position Summary

    Arts and Sciene is seeking an experienced program administrator to provide administrative services to the NSF-supported Materials Research Science and Engineering Center. Administer the budget, including grant accounts and purchasing; prepare annual and interim reports, analyze trends, and projections. Develop and implement office policies and procedures, including website development and maintenance.Serve as a liaison with Office of Global Services to arrange for visa materials for faculty, visiting scholars and short-term visitors; resolve problems. Plan and organize events and workshops.

    Qualifications

    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree and

    Required Experience:
    2 years' relevant experience or master’s degree or equivalent combination. Must include experience with overseeing office and program activities and administering budgets.

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, PC and MAC computers. Ability to design and maintain web sites and social media platforms. Familiarity with grants processing. Ability to work with a broad spectrum of individuals (students, faculty, staff, international).
