The purpose of this position is to provide post-award grants management support to Tandon departments that are in need of guidance pertaining to post-award grants management. Tandon is experiencing a rapid increase in sponsored research funding, therefore, it is critical that faculty have sufficient post-award grants management support to ensure proper compliance and fiscal oversight of their sponsored research projects. The position is also aimed to reduce faculty of administrative burdens that affect their research productivity and other academic obligations. The position will be based in the Tandon Office of Sponsored Research and will report to the Assistant Director of Post-Award Grants Management (and Vice Dean for Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship). The position will manage a complex sponsored research portfolio and be responsible for all aspects of post-award grants management for various departments at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree

Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with grants and contracts, preferably in a university setting.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Proficiency with computers, navigating the internet and MS Office suite. Should possess high level knowledge of the Uniform Guidance and fundamental post-award policies and procedures governing federal sponsored research projects. Should be extremely organized, an excellent multi-tasker, and self- motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Familiarity with grants administration processes in a university setting and proficient in utilizing NYU grants management databases and tools (Cayuse, UDW+, JEMS, Workday, etc.) to manage sponsored research projects.
