Lead and manage one or more teams of full-time and student software developers in the development and implementation of new systems and software solutions. Delegate tasks, review code for defects, test code to ensure quality of deliverables, provide clarification and guidance on implementation standards and decisions, and provide guidance for career, educational and technical growth for project team members. Receive status updates from team(s) and provide status updates to product owners. Maintain, upgrade and enhance existing systems. Evaluate existing systems to identify areas of enhancement and the impact of such enhancements. Analyze organizational needs and research and develop new solutions to meet those needs. Manage and delegate the implementation of proofs of concept. Explore and suggest innovative applications for emerging technologies in existing and new systems.
Required Education: Bachelor of Science from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Required Experience: Min 5 years of related experience with team-based software development, enterprise hardware, virtual environments and web application development. Min 1 year experience managing / leading a team of software developers.
Preferred Experience: Development Experience in Service Now Technologies
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: The candidate for the role must be both technically savvy as well as familiar with the business processes and procedures necessary to manage and maintain organizational technologies (both developed in house and by external vendors). The ideal candidate should have a broad spectrum of knowledge and experiences including but not limited to: software engineering, web development, project management, enterprise systems management, cybersecurity, system and business analysis.
