The Operations Administrator proactively oversees and maintains operations and improvements to all Art Department studios, teaching & exhibition spaces. Participate in space planning and communications. Manage the Student Employment process. Act as liaison with ITS, Telecommunications, and Steinhardt Facilities Group. Oversees Studio and Lab Managers to insure smooth operations of Studios, Shops and Labs. (Full-time, Some evenings and weekend hours required.)
Minimum 3 years of professional administrative experience, specific experience managing an arts related facility or working in arts or arts education. Experience must include facility and program management, student services and staff supervision.
Experience in University and/or equivalent professional setting. Fabrication experience is a plus.
