  • Position Summary

    The School of Professional Studies is seeking a Receptionist to serve part time at one of its satellite locations to greet students, faculty and other visitors and direct them to appropriate person or location, answer phones, respond to general inquiries and resolve problems. Schedule audio-visual equipment usage;deliver or ensure delivery and retrieval of equipment. Help set up furniture in rooms for special events. Serve as backup Messenger.


    Please note the regular hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 5:00 p.m - 10:00 p.m.  Availability to cover other shifts is a plus.


    Required Education:
    High School diploma or equivalent.

    Preferred Education:
    Some college

    Required Experience:
    6 months of office experience. Experience providing customer support.

    Preferred Experience:
    1 year office experience.

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Knowledge of and ability to operate A/V equipment. Ability to operate basic office equipment (e.g., personal computer, photocopy/fax machine).
