Responsible for cultivating and sustaining collaborative high-value relationships with designated companies, including officers, managers, and staff who influence and/or enter into agreements with educational partners to provide their personnel with online graduate education and executive/professional education. The Director will play a key role in building, scaling, and managing key partnerships that ultimately will drive enrollment results for several Tandon online graduate programs.
Undergraduate degree in a technical field preferred; ability to understand fundamental concepts of several technical/computational fields of study.
5-7 years business development experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Strong customer focus. Proven record of sales and/or customer/client relationship management to firms in financial services, information technology, information and cybersecurity, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare and/or medical research.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Experience with sales in state and city agencies useful. Background in or understanding of online learning, graduate education, or corporate training is desirable. Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and social media skills--data analysis, and presentations.
