  • Position Summary

    Develop, direct and implement admissions policies, strategies, processes and procedures for NYU Tisch School of the Arts’ graduate programs. Collaborate with school and department leadership to develop innovative sources strategies for recruitment and yield of applications. Manage on going evaluation of the admissions process for all programs; manage online applications; maintain University relationships with Registrar, Bursar, etc. Review enrollment trends, conduct relevant market research, analyze findings and make recommendations to School leadership. Supervise staff.

    Qualifications

    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree and

    Preferred Education:
    Master's degree

    Required Experience:
    5 or more years of increasingly responsible professional-level experience. Must include experience in admissions, recruitment, and/or other client facing positions, managing staff and budgets.

    Preferred Experience:
    Relevant experience in a performing arts environment

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and negotiating skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to interact effectively with a diverse population at all levels. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications is also required.

    Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Exposure to international environments and diverse student audience is preferred
