  • Position Summary

    The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing NYU Skirball’s marketing strategies, both online and offline. Leveraging new and existing technologies, this person will play an important role in overseeing and creating website content, social media and paid online advertising. As well, oversight of design and creation of content for NYU Skirball/ NYU Box Office eblasts and promotional events. The successful candidate has thorough knowledge of digital communications in a global context, and significant experience using all forms of new media and technologies.

    Qualifications

    Required Education:
    Bachelor's Degree

    Preferred Education:
    Arts administration related degree.

    Required Experience:
    3 years experience in digital media/marketing. At least 1 year experience in Event Marketing.

    Preferred Experience:
    Up to 3 years experience in the marketing/communications field. Prior experience using an enterprise CRM system to manage communication. Experience with SEO, web analytics and reporting. Experience with Tessitura an asset.

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Deep understanding of the online communications production process, including working knowledge of HTML and proficiency with web content management systems. Ability to use a variety of digital tools-images, video, GIFs, and other forms of multimedia-to tell stories. Ability to work collaboratively across organizational lines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to present digital/online findings at weekly marketing meetings and effectively meet deadlines. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with graphics/digital imaging software – Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator and flash. Proficiency with social networking tools – Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc. Knowledge of HTML an asset.

    Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Proficiency with other graphic design software packages.
