Oversee effective delivery of data management, communications and media services for local and national artistic review and admissions processes for Department of Drama.Manage the Summer High School Drama Program and Future Theater Artists Programs.
Required Education:
BA or BFA in theatre or a related field
Preferred Education:
Advanced degree in Theatre or higher education administration or related field
Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in admissions and recruitment, advising actors or acting students regarding theatre training, including audition experience and staff supervision.
Preferred Experience:
Strong admissions and audition background and experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated proficiency with various software applications and Information databases (e.g., FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Office, and scheduling). Ability to manage large-scale admissions processes and schedules. Familiarity with Standards, practices and techniques of professional theatre training. Ability to evaluate students for admission to theatre training Program and to set policy and procedures for other auditors. Familiarity with national and international theatre training approaches. Familiarity with New York professional theatre community
