  • Position Summary

    NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Director of Alumni Relations. The Senior Director will develop and implement strategies that most effectively engage alumni in the life of the School. The Senior Director will create and offer meaningful programs and services that advance the mutual interests of the alumni body and the school. S/he will create integrated alumni engagement programs that result in a vibrant, growing pipeline of donors and potential donors and collaborate with the development team on friend-raising to fund raising synergies through events and communications. The Senior Director will lead the development and execution of a global strategic platform that consists of over 80 programs and events annually including signature events, reunions, industry panels, and recent alumni programming. S/he will develop sophisticated metrics that measure ROI, inform decision-making, and ensure these programs support the goals of the school, e.g. development, admissions, student engagement and placement. The Senior Director will also lead and develop a team and manage budgets. 

    Qualifications

    The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master’s degree or MBA preferred) and a minimum of 6 years increasingly responsible professional level experience in alumni relations, fund raising, public affairs, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Proven track record in spearheading and marketing alumni services, events, and programs and integrating these activities is essential.  Strong strategic planning, relationship building, communication, and management skills are also required.
