General Office Administration
This position resides within University Development & Alumni Relations. Perform a wide range of clerical, secretarial and general office duties including those of a confidential nature. Respond to inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the department's activities, policies and programs. Interact with the general public as NYU liaison and with University personnel including those at the senior level to resolve issues and problems.
Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in business, marketing or accounting.
Required Experience: 3 years of office experience. Office experience to include customer or student service.
Preferred Experience: 2 years of office experience (with Associates degree or some college). 1-2 years of office experience (with Bachelor's degree).
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of Advance Donor Database a plus. Knowledge of Access. Knowledge and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
