**Please note that this is a 1 year fixed term position**
Provide integrated information, systems, and media technology solutions for the NYU Washington, DC location, its employees, students, and embedded departmental units. The focus of the role is to ensure the effective delivery of audio video, videoconference, and video production services in support of the NYU site academic, student life, and administrative programs. This includes helping determine and implement technical configurations, and coordinating technical activities pertaining to events and media services needs. Liaise with Central IT offices in support of technology and user needs. Train and educate staff.
3 years of relevant experience and or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience in the provision of technical support services environment to a wide range of stakeholders.
Relevant experience in a higher education environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong working knowledge and experience of Windows applications, Mac OS X, Video Conferencing (Polycom) and Video Editing facilities. Working knowledge of industry software like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Motion, DVD Studio Pro, Flash Dreamweaver, Pro-Tools, Webcasting and Streaming media. Adaptability and good problem solving abilities, and willingness to learn. Demonstrated ability to have a focused and proactive approach for interaction with stakeholders. Excellent organization skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to listen and contribute to team decision making.
